Poor/ Good evidence

It is not is a rule which requires that the best witness be called or the best proof be offered witness be called or the best proof be offered.It is not is a rule which requires that the best witness be called or the best proof be offered at trial. The application of the best evidence rule does not exclude evidence based on any type of qualitative assessment of the evidence as poor, good, better or best. Its only aim is to insure accuracy of evidence under the premise that proof of the contents of a document should ordinarily come from the document itself.
